A Statement from the Board of Dublin Youth Theatre
It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of Sarah Bragg-Bolger from her position as Managing Director of Dublin Youth Theatre. We have received her formal resignation letter dated March 28, 2024, wherein she has expressed her intention to step down from her role effective June 14, 2024, providing a two-month notice period to facilitate a smooth transition.
During her tenure of seven years with Dublin Youth Theatre, Sarah has been an invaluable asset to our organisation. Her dedication, leadership, and unwavering commitment have significantly contributed to the growth and success of Dublin Youth Theatre. From her collaborative efforts with the board and artistic directors to her guidance and mentorship of our talented young members, Sarah has played a pivotal role in shaping Dublin Youth Theatre into what it is today.
Under her stewardship, Dublin Youth Theatre has achieved remarkable milestones, including the transition from Gardiner St to Curved St, and has continued to thrive as a vibrant hub for creativity and artistic expression. Her vision, passion, and tireless efforts have left an indelible mark on our organisation, and we are immensely grateful for her contributions.
In her resignation letter, Sarah eloquently expressed her belief in the importance of embracing change in leadership and making space for new ideas to propel Dublin Youth Theatre into its next phase of growth and development. While we will miss her guidance and leadership, we respect her decision and wholeheartedly support her in this new chapter of her journey.
