Why become a Friend of Dublin Youth Theatre?

Dublin Youth Theatre is a charitable (CHY 10897) not-for-profit organisation that relies on fundraising and donations to supplement the funding received from The Arts Council, CDYSB and Dublin City Council. It has always been our policy to keep the membership fees as low as possible, to ensure membership is accessible to the young people who need it.
For over 40 years, DYT has been a haven where young people can develop socially as well as artistically, all the while making lifelong friends and memories, and producing theatre at a high artistic standard. To maintain DYT’s quality work, we are launching the DYT Friends Scheme.
By becoming a Friend, you will either set up a monthly or annual payment and receive benefits such as priority booking and discounted tickets. Please explore below to see the benefits available at each level. Alternatively, if you become a One-Act Festival level Friend or higher, you can choose to waive the benefits, making it a philanthropic donation and giving permission to DYT as a registered charity to claim tax relief on the dontation, making it go even further to support DYT’s work. Under the Charitable Donation Scheme, your donation of €480 will be worth €695.65 to DYT.
