About the production
Written by: Willy Russell
Directed by: Gerard Stembridge
What education is, seems to be a matter of considerable disagreement between Mrs. Kay, Mr. Waldron and the kids themselves. This play with music doesn’t offer any answers, but through a mixture of song, humour and real understanding gives a sensitive insight to the lives and concerns of its characters. The play was originally written for a Liverpool setting, but DYT have adapted it to a Dublin situation.
