On the night before their final day a group of Leaving Cert students break into their school.  They want to leave their mark but via practical jokes and some harmless (if tasteless) fun rather than destruction.  But complications arise as the night wears on…

The play interests itself not only in the young people, what they think and feel about themselves and each other; it presents them as they are even if some will find the picture harsh and crude.  But that would be merely a surface impression of a play in which the warmth and complexity of character emerges and not simply stereotypes about ‘Youth’. Indeed the play is not only for young people but for anyone who has faced the moment of ‘Leaving’, of going on to a new part of one’s life and the difficulties and uncertainties of the break away.
