DYT is delighted to announce Katie Martin will be covering Managing Director, Sarah Bragg-Bolger’s maternity leave and welcome her to the team. Katie is an arts administrator, consultant and writer from Tallaght, Dublin. She has worked in youth theatre for over 20 years. She joined Youth Theatre Ireland (then the National Association for Youth Drama) as Administrator in 2001 after completing their drama facilitation training course ArtsTrain. She became General Manager in 2015. Though she left YTI in 2018, she has returned as a consultant to run their Wellbeing Programme and deliver other initiatives. She also worked as a youth theatre leader and administrator with Tallaght Youth Theatre where she led a number of productions and projects. Katie is a poet whose work has been published in The Irish Times, Crannóg, Abridged and many other publications both in Ireland and abroad. Her first collection was commended in the Patrick Kavanagh Award 2021.

Katie is thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to Dublin Youth Theatre and be part of
their brilliant team who deliver such a positive experience for members.
