Dublin Youth Theatre’s 2023 Open Day will be taking place on Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th September.
DYT takes in members once a year, and this is your chance to join our membership!
This year we will be combining our open day and audition process, so on the day you can chat to our current members and DYT Team before taking part in a group workshop.
The workshop will be your ‘audition’ for Dublin Youth Theatre but you don’t need to prepare anything! You will just play some basic drama games, do some exercises, and be asked why you would like to join. The most important thing is to be yourself.
On average, our Open Day brings over 100 auditionees for DYT and while we wish we could accept more members, we currently only have an intake of 35 members per year.
To sign up, fill out the form on our Join DYT page, you will then receive an email asking you to choose a time slot for either Saturday or Sunday. Pick your time and we’ll see you there!
Please note that if you do not select a time slot, you may not be able to attend your desired open day session.
If all time slots are booked up but you are interested in attending, please contact luka[at]dublinyouththeatre.com as soon as possible. We will compile a waitlist and advise from there.
