A workshop led by Theatre maker Cathal McGuire exploring ‘object theatre’…

Object Theatre is a unique theatrical form which brings together acting, storytelling, design and object manipulation to create its own kind of performance magic. In this masterclass workshop, theatre maker Cathal McGuire will introduce the core principles of Object Theatre: how the objects we choose shape the performance, how the actor creates the world around the object, and how we can draw on movies and comic books to shape the stories we tell on stage. Participants are invited to bring in everyday objects of all kinds for the group to experiment with.
